XE4J6950 Meer Axelrod. Children. 1925

An early drawing from the works kept by the artist’s heirs in Israel. Interest in Axelrod has grown of late and one wonderful exhibition has followed another. Several books and albums have been published about Axelrod’s works almost simultaneously. Nearly all of his early works have long been in the storerooms of leading Russian museums, with very few in private collections.
